GMRT Radio Physics Lab (RPL) is going to have a Summer School involving Radio Astronomical Engineering from July 07 to 12, 2025, at GMRT- campus, Khodad, Pune. We invite applications from Engineering students to participate in the programme.
Objective:
The GMRT Engineering Summer School is a programme targetted to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications in radio astronomy and engineering. This offers engineering students the rare opportunity to explore the frontiers of radio telescope technology, signal processing, and astronomical instrumentation through a combination of hands-on experiments and lectures. This will help the participants to deepen their technical knowledge as well as gain practical skills vital for cutting-edge research in radio astronomy
Who can apply ?
The Summer School is tailored for engineering students eager to delve into the world of radio astronomy instrumentation. We welcome applications from 3rd and Final Year B. Tech Students in ECE, E&TC, and E&I Engineering, and 1st Year M. Tech Students specializing in ECE, E&TC, and E&I Engineering.

Selected candidates will be entitled for free shared accommodation and meals during their stay at the GMRT campus.
