Description
The upgraded GMRT offers nearly seamless wideband coverage across a decade of radio frequency from 150 MHz to 1450 MHz. Its enhanced capabilities make this an opportune moment for it to explore extending its reach to VLBI. The phased GMRT will be an extremely sensitive VLBI facility and has the potential to greatly enhance the scientific returns at low frequencies. This meeting will open avenues and forge partnerships towards realizing the VLBI goals of the observatory.
